When the temperatures start to rise in June a couple of early bird sunbathers are already grilling under the sun on the beach of Coney Island.
I spend a couple of hours on Coney Island beach in June 2016. While walking along the beach I singled out sunbathers and photographed them from a certain distance, specifically including their surrounding. I like how the images convey a sense of quietness in the urban backdrop setting.
